Condition:  Very good antique condition. Several (3) of the labels are loose, one is missing.  Leather on spines shows considerable wear, with fading, loss of gold, fraying at tops and some deterioration.  Minor wear shows on edges of boards.  Endpapers and interior binding in near perfect condition, with very minor foxing on free pages. Please see photos. 

Details: Printed by R. Clay, Sons and Taylor, London, these are eight books of a larger set of Dickens' works.  Small scale pocket editions with Moroccan red leather spines and corners over marbled paper boards.  Same marbled paper used for end papers.  Edges marbled all around.  Raised bands on spines with applied leather labels of dark green and dark brown brown, with gold lettering and decoration. Each volume inscribed by hand on the first free page after the end papers, "Thos. J. Hill, 29 Dec, 1882".  No illustrations.
